Abraham is a love story. Our journey began in 2010 (OMG!). Four partners came to us with a name and a beautiful story about Abraham and his tent, where he graciously hosted travelers from all corners of the world. Their vision was to revolutionize the landscape for backpackers and travelers in Israel. Over the years, we’ve translated this story into a visual language that not only stands out but also captures the unique essence of the place.
Our strategy is simple yet profound: to convey a message of warmth, welcome, and hospitality, forging a local connection in an unfamiliar setting. The design draws inspiration from family name signs on doors and family photo albums, creating a dual link to both family ties and memories forged on the journey. Local Middle Eastern textures further anchor the familial to the local, crafting a new, familiar yet uniquely special family.
Since 2010, we’ve been passionately working day by day on a diverse range of projects, and it’s always been a joy. Today, Abraham Hostel welcomes guests not only in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Eilat, and Nazareth but also in Egypt and the Philippines. We navigated through the challenges of COVID-19 and now find ourselves in one of the most testing moments in Middle Eastern history. Yet, we believe in true partnerships that will see us through it all together.
